Windows 7 Starter Edition & Plug-It stick issues

If you have installed the Smart Bro Plug It/Globe Tattoo earlier and there were compatibility issues (i.e. it didn’t get any signal, the computer cannot detect it, etc.), remove the Smart Bro Plug it/Globe Tattoo.
Once you have safely removed the Smart Bro Plug It/Globe Tattoo stick, go to the Control Panel and UNINSTALL the installed Smart Bro/Globe Tattoo program. (If you have installed it earlier and it failed to detect signal or having other problems).
1. Now, plug-in the Smart Bro/Globe Tattoo device again.
2. When the AutoPlay dialogue box appears, do not click “AutoRun”, click “Open Folder to View Files” instead.
3. When the folder opens, double click “Installer Folder”.
4. Now, right-click on “SetUp” and then click “Troubleshoot Compatibility”.
5. Once it has detected the compatibility issues, click “Try Recommended Settings”.
6. Once Windows has resolved the issues, it will recommend a network setting for your Smart Bro Plug It/Globe Tattoo Stick device.
7. Now, test the effectiveness of the recommended setting by clicking “Start the Program”.
8. Install the Smart Bro/Globe Tattoo Program again by following the installer instructions (All it takes is a bunch of “Yes” and “I agree” clicks)
9. Once it is completely installed, check if Smart Bro Plug It/Globe Tattoo is now compatible with your Windows 7 Starter OS.
Lastly, go back to the dialogue box, click “Next” and then, save your settings for the program by clicking “Yes, Save these Settings for this Program”.

Bago magsimula, siguraduhing tama ang petsa sa phone. Hindi tayo makakakunek kung mali ang petsa kaya tignan ng maigi. Tapos ay isalpak mo na ang sim na gagamitin as SIM1 (kung isa lang lalagyan ng sim eh basta magsalpak na lang ). Siguraduhin lang po na internet ready ang SIM. Wag magsimula kung hindi internet ready ang SIM kasi mapapagod lang kayo sa kakasubok. Ang mga internet ready na sim ay smart buddy quick access sim, globe tattoo/starter sim, mga bagong globe extreme memory sim (128k), at mga bagong TnT sim. Makikita naman sa package ng sim kung internet ready na sila. Ang idownload na operamini ay yung OM4.2 na single file for GLOBE/ for SMART. Pumili na lang kung alin doon ang para sa network mo.

Edit any existing account

Account Name:

Kahit ano gusto nyo. Pero suggestion ko eh ipangalan nyo sa trick at kung ano network. Example, IP Trick Smart.

ACCESS POINT NAME OR APN:

For globe: http.globe.com.ph or www.globe.com.ph (kung ano man ang gumagana)
For smart: internet
For sun: minternet
For red mobile: redinternet
Save the account.

2. Then go to phone Menu> Services> WAP> Settings> Edit account or profile

Edit or create a profile/account.

Rename account/profile:

Gayahin yung ipinangalan kanina.

3. Then go to phone Menu> Services> WAP> Settings> Edit account or profile

Choose SIM1 then click yung ginawa kanina. Then click activate.

4. Go to phone Menu> Java> Java Settings>

Make sure na default ang mga nakalagay sa boxes na may choices na default.

5. Go to phone Menu> Java> Java (open yung installed operamini). Kapag nag-error, try to reconnect. Once kumunek yan, enjoy your free internet!
